Examining consumer drug information sites

We designed and fielded a 15-minute online survey among 706 website visitors residing in the U.S., ages 18 and older and seeking information for themselves or as a primary caregiver for someone else.
Our results highlighted the importance of health information websites as being trustworthy and unbiased as well as ways to better meet visitors’ needs, such as incorporating a pill identifier and releasing an app.
