During each promotional event, visitors could scan a barcode displayed throughout the establishment to take a 5-minute survey on their phones.
Results from the surveys allowed business decision-makers to “experience” the events from the perspective of their visitors. Data-driven evaluation of reactions to various promotional items (e.g., gift cards, menu items, entertainment) informed decisions for future events.
