Deciding on a new pizza recipe

Challenge

A frozen pizza company wanted to make sure that their new flavors appealed to kids 10-12 AND their moms.

Approach

We conducted taste testing with mom and tween friend pairs to hear what they like and didn’t like about each flavor.

Result

The client found that only one of their proposed flavors worked with both moms and kids – but the other one was a huge hit with the adults. They moved forward with both products, positioned differently for maximum sales.
