Challenge: A major department store wanted to perfect the self-checkout feature on their app before a wide release.
Approach: JBR conducted in-store intercepts as well as video recorded in-store 1-on-1 shopalongs, walking around with customers and getting their feedback in real time as they made a purchase using self-checkout.
Result: A multi-media report (video, podcast, and PowerPoint deck) let the client show their app developers the user experience through shoppers’ eyes, so they could make relevant fixes.
